![]() ![]() ![]() What do you mean by leaving website to another site? Because that isnt the case and that all depends on how you set it up. I added a small search icon which show and hides the bar in the top AKA nameless This way the user will be directed to the proper location on the page as well. My idea is, which in jquery can be done, is find the closest class which has an ID, than add that as a link. So im gonna see if i can pull this off with my "hardly any" Jquery knowledge But most parts have that through Mobirise. But that would only work if all section and other parts have ID ofcourse. ![]() But what would be nice if when you click a result. Im still a bit working on some items I wanted to perhaps something to the search. Untill i added just like that without any classes to the pages, then it started to work. Ive tried tons of methods to get the navbar excluded didnt work. Yes i know and understand that part But the thing is, it seem what this replace does is only replace that actual part and not the complete TAGS. It's a bit crude but was very easy to implement (no PHP/coding knowledge needed). Quickly added the JavaScript I mentioned so as to show you how you can get Google Search to do all the heavy lifting for you. PS Google Translate even translated Werners code comments thare were in German into English. The more I use Mobirise the more I'm impressed and can see its clear benefits but as with all tools it takes a while to work out (as you've clear done with NOF in the past) how best to workaround their limitations when you want to do something out of the ordinary. Many have never even programmed in PHP or any other programming language for that matter so need a bit of 'hand holding' assistance in these circumstances on how to 'tweak' their Mobirise generated HTML files. Sadly a lot of people who use web site builder tools like Mobirise aren't as proficient in coding as you and I. Courtesy of Google Translate I've visited you NetObjects Fusion (NOF) tutorial link and can now see what needs to be done in order to implement the script within a Mobirise site so will now have a go using it on my own site. If you've paid for the Code Editor then this may not be mean to imply that German isn't a language but rather that most people visiting this forum would probably prefer to see English. Please note that whenever you make changes to a page within you Mobirise project that you will need to add the site search code again to any of the HTML pages you choose to regenerate using Mobirise. In your case we can add a similar block probably above your menu bar that contains the site search form. If you look at my site you'll see that I have a 'block' in the header section just below the menu bar that contains contact details and my Facebook/Twitter social media icons. I'm happy to do this as I've been thinking of doing this for my own site anyway. If its OK with you and time permitting I'll take a copy of you index.html home page and set up a copy of it on a folder off my web site that includes the site search facility javascript code. I've had a quick look at the HTML generated by Mobirise 3 and provided you don't mind doing a bit of manual tweeking of the HTML files that you web site is made up of then it should be quite straightforward to add a search facility to you site. ![]()
